The Hotel

Viseu, the Garden City with its green parks and centuries old trees, is a welcoming, romantic city endowed with a very rich historic heritage, which includes the Pousada de Viseu. Built in the former Hospital de São Teotónio, dating from 1842 and completely rebuilt and adapted by architect Gonçalo Byrne in 2009, the Pousada, with views of the historic part of the city, is an important landmark in the most peaceful city centre in Portugal.

During your stay, you can enjoy the spa, where you can schedule massages and treatments or use the fantastic outdoor pool.

The Pousada also offers a restaurant, a bar, a very unique wine room, a cigar lounge and conference rooms. The rooms are spacious with balconies featuring great views.
