The highlight is the experience of staying in an authentic mill. The 360º view of sunrise and sunset is remarkable. The feeling of being connected to the region’s history, combined with the surrounding natural beauty, makes this a truly special experience.

The Hotel

Staying in a Moinho de Vento is a unique experience. Located on a cliff on the south side of São Miguel Island, in the fantastic Azores archipelago.

Room with a 360º view of the heart of nature. Equipped with a small living and dining room and a fully equipped kitchenette, the mill has a capacity for 2 people and is the perfect choice for a romantic getaway.

It is installed on a plot of 4000m2 and where rainwater flows from the Sete Cidades mountain range to the ocean. Moinho das Feteiras has a vast relaxing garden with more than 200 different species, several areas of fruit trees that hotel guests, a traditional vegetable garden, and a superb view over the Atlantic Ocean can harvest.

Blue Lagoon is 16.1 km from Moinho das Feteiras, while Lagoa das Sete Cidades is 17.7 km from the property. The nearest airport is João Paulo II Airport, 13 km from the farm stay, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.
